International Agricultural Tour Operating Company

Agrotours is a family-owned, licensed, and insured tour operator specializing in group agricultural tours. The company was founded in Fredericksburg, Virginia, in 1980 by Eija Gamage (President Emeritus) and later expanded to include her husband, Lennie Gamage (Vice President), and their daughters, Elisabet Goodwyn (Managing Director) and Kristina Macy (Tour Coordinator). Today, the company’s head office is located in Richmond, Virginia, with satellite offices in Henderson, North Carolina, and Austin, Texas.

Specializing in agricultural tours, we provide many services including:

Agricultural Tours Worldwide

Our incoming-department handles requests from travel agencies, universities and farm groups for customized tours throughout the United States.  Our outbound services are available to US and Canadian organizations, universities and farm groups traveling to international destinations.

Agrotours customizes every tour to reflect the group’s interests, with itineraries that can focus on specific areas such as livestock or dairy production, horticulture, or forestry, or we can provide a broad overview of a country’s agricultural sector. Trip length can range from a few days to several weeks, and group sizes can vary from as few as 8 participants to more than 100.

In recent years, our groups have traveled to the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, Morocco, Kenya, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Panama, Costa Rica, Belize and Canada.
